DLRV is located 3 km East on # 1 Highway, Medicine Hat, Alberta. Locally owned and operated they are committed to giving you the best quality and best priced new Georgetown motorhomes by Forest River as well as low kilometer pre-owned RVs.
Purchasing an RV
When you find an RV you want to purchase, DLRV recommends that you thoroughly inspect the unit. If it is a motor home, the inspection should include taking it on a test drive with one of our salesmen to make sure it handles satisfactorily. Our Georgetown line carries a 12 month 20,000 km warrenty, while our pre-owned RVs are "AS-IS" or you can take advantage of DLRV's "pre-delivery check out and demonstration" and then purchase the RV knowing that although there is no warranty, all components are working at the time of purchase.
A deposit will hold the RV for 5 days. If you need more than 5 days to close on the sale, we will consider holding the vehicle for 14 days with a non-refundable deposit. The additional time must be approved by DLRV's management.
DLRV's Pre-Delivery Check Out and Demonstration
The pre-delivery check out and demonstration will include the following equipment:
- Generator
- D/C Power Converter
- Roof Air Conditioner(s)
- Refrigerator (gas and electric)
- Slide Out(s)
- Range
- Oven
- Furnace
- Microwave
- Hot water heater (gas only)
- Toilet
- Fresh water pump and System
- Ice maker
- Holding tanks (filled to 3/4 full and then checked for leaks)
- Hydraulic/electric jacks
- Electric Step
- Awning (demonstration only) "As Is"
- All batteries are "As-Is"
- Headlights, blinkers, brake and marker lights
- Roof and Window Seals "As Is"
The above items will be demonstrated to you just prior to the "closing". This valuable check out is for your protection so that you know exactly what you are buying. Once you have purchased it and the vehicle leaves DLRV's premises, it will be sold "AS-IS" with no warranty.
When the RV is a late model all Manufacturers warranties will apply.
When looking over the RV you are about to purchase, keep in mind that this is not a brand new RV and there will be minor imperfections. The price of the RV reflects the overall condition of the unit.
Buy an Extended Service Agreement if the RV Qualifies
DLRV can offer an extended service agreement on qualifying RVs. Check with a sales representative to see if the unit you want to purchase qualifies.
Financing Available
We offer financing on most vehicles 10 years old or newer. We also have financing available for most out of province/state buyers, depending on their province/state of residence.
Final Closing
Upon meetng with DLRV's Business Managers to make the final arrangements for purchasing the vehicle. The advantages of financing versus cash purchase will be reviewed with you to help you make an informed decision as to which payment method you choose.
Please remember that the total due at closing must be paid in cash, bank draft or certified cheque. No personal checks are accepted.
